I bow to my friend Sarah’s supreme baking prowess. She doesn’t talk much about her kitchen skills, claims she can’t even be trusted with a hot pocket, and yet she made and sent me the world’s cutest individual servings of apple pie, baked in teensy Mason jars, dusted with cinnamon, and with hearts and letter E’s (eee!) cut out of the crusts.
I promptly baked one up for lunch, and it was AMAZING.
Up til today it had been kind of a crummy week, but whilst inhaling this deliciousness, I decided that the bad things weren’t really that big a deal. Are they ever? Certainly not in the face of tiny apple pies.
